About MomCON:
when: Mother's Day Weekend in May 2010
where: San Francisco
what: A convention of friends and their Mothers.
why: The idea came one emotional night when it was clear to Jamie Bond and I that our friends are extremely kick ass and there is probably someone behind this reason. Since we both love our Mothers deeply, we thought they would get along quite well. Then the idea of flying out the mothers all together so they could all meet each other made us giggle. Since our network of Friends has proven to be amazing, artistic, and powerful, we thought the same might happen with getting to know the Mom's behind the scenes. Also we want our mothers to get to know each other to improve their network of Awesomeness.
Now the idea is planted in your head, it's time to start planning.
We are in the fact finding stages to see if we need a studio or a ballroom to host the main events.

Main Events include but are not limited to:
*Talent Show to showcase to our originator how rad we are. Maybe we get some brave Moms to showcase their talent as well.
*Mom Dance Party
*Mom Pampering Spa Day
As far as Dads go, we apologize that you are not invited. While you came in our mother, we came out, and we must honor this most painful and life-changing process. Please feel free to send support or help in any way. We love you just as much, but one convention at a time.
